Getting Here
The Charlotte Film Festival takes place at the Independent Picture House, Charlotte’s home for independent and arthouse cinema. Whether you are driving, taking the light rail, or getting dropped off, getting here is straightforward and we want to make sure you spend your energy on the films, not the logistics.

ParkingParking at the Independent Picture House is free. There is a main lot right in front of the building with overflow space alongside it. We would recommend arriving at least 15 minutes prior to your screening. Other events in the area can make parking tricky, but there is street parking as well, and that’s usually not difficult to find. One thing to note: do not park in the Blackbox Theater lot next door. They will tow. |
|
Light RailIf you are coming by train, hop off the Lynx Blue Line at Sugar Creek Station. It is a 5 to 8 minute walk to the theater from there and a pretty pleasant one at that. |
