Charm is staying with her grandfather for the summer in the small town of Klamath Falls, Oregon. She wants nothing more than a summer, but instead is forced to work a summer job at a camp resort. She loves the quiet stillness of nature that puts her at ease when she doesn’t fit in with her peers. She is introverted, and would rather escape to her room and hang out with animals than speak to humans. She is put on the spot by her male peers when they quiz her about a sexual term, “Cowgirl,” and Charm must navigate how this makes her feel.
