Bubbe & Tal

Tal gets roped into driving Bubbe to Cape Cod. Chasing Bubbe from a mysterious house to the beach, Tal has no idea what’s going on, but Bubbe always seems to know where she’s headed. However, when a dishevelled and confused Bubbe returns without her boot and a sudden pain increase, Tal proposes their own method for pain relief: weed. Post-joint munchies replace the pain and pair well with a dozen Wellfleet oysters. When it’s time to return home, though, Bubbe insists on heading back to the beach, and Tal finally demands the reason for this trip. It’s here, in Bubbe’s old car–where their journey started–that they discover mutual companionship in the rockiest of places: grief.
