Aeon, a startup leader and its most hardworking individual puts a lot of effort into “Timekeeper”—his company. Day after day, he works overtime, which concerns his best friend and business partner, Alana. She is worried that Aeon is overworking himself, but he says it’s not that big of a deal.
One day Aeon’s established routine is broken. He doesn’t wake up in his bed, and it appears somebody else was in his apartment. Turns out it was him sleepwalking. Aeon is struck with a brilliant idea – he “employs” his sleepwalking persona, striving to boost his efficiency to an even bigger limit. Aeon shares his strategy with Alana, who is skeptical and even more concerned about his health. However, the strategy proves to be successful, and the company thrives.
Through Aeon’s dream, we see him triumph at the cost of his well-being, and after another grueling day of work he falls into a deep sleep, from which he is incapable to wake up on his own.
