The Weight Of You

A 40-something nurse practitioner (LORNA) meets up with a college flame (ROBERT) in what looks like a friendly cup of coffee to reminisce about old times. But Lorna has a much more serious agenda, namely to confront Robert about the night he sexually assaulted her 20 years ago. The private confrontation at a cafe table is a sober moment of reckoning for him, while for her it’s a catharsis meant to unshackle herself from the burden she’s carried all these years and live her life free of the ‘weight’.
