HONEYMOON is a journey of George and Victoria as they navigate the challenges of Alzheimer’s disease, wrapped in the warmth of their enduring love. However, we quickly realize that this journey exists solely within Victoria’s mind, a loop of memory spun by her Alzheimer’s. With their daughter Beatrice by their side, George faces the heart-wrenching reality of Victoria’s condition. Yet, amidst the sorrow, there is a glimmer of hope as they decide to embrace Victoria’s recurring memory of their honeymoon. Through gentle persuasion and a tender touch, George plays along, using the memory of that cherished day to ease Victoria’s transition to a nursing home.
