PROVISIONS is a short stop motion that draws upon the animate possibility of stop motion to articulate the liveliness of culture and memory. The film follows K, a young Trinidadian-American woman who lives on her own, as she prepares provision soup. K calls her grandmother for advice on how to make the traditional Trinidadian dish, and their conversation evolves into a conversation about community and how it feels to be a child of the diaspora.
