2006 CFF

Ah, what a year it was.

Prior to the actual event, our first annual festival at times felt like a hazy,
incoherent dream at others it was a logistical nightmare.

In the end it was everything we wanted to be and more than most
people expected.

There will never be another first... That is both reassuring and sad.

2007 CFF

Like a monster in some gothic film, the second annual festival fed on the success
of the 2006 event and grew to almost twice its size while Charlotteans went about
their business .

Twelve months later, the fest opened with the raw indie energy of "Adrenaline",
Charlotte premiered "In the Shadow of the Moon", and closed with "Facing Sudan",
donating all the proceeds to the local Charlotte Chapter of Save Darfur.

In between we had a gala in the rooftop of the Mint Museum of Craft + Design,
two awesome after parties, great filmmaking discussion panels, and much more.

From the backend the view was even sweeter. This time even the crew enjoyed it.
No longer exactly wet behind the ears, we acted cool and looked hot.

Can't wait for 2008!!!
